Well I guess I have a oddball year Explorer combination as I can't seem to find a chip or tuner for it.

Anyone have any idea if anybody makes one?

The Explorer from 2002 on can't use a chip as they have the newer style computer. Here's your best option as far as a tuner goes:

Tmod,How does your Explorer run now ?? I have an 04' 4.6 v-8 4wd NBX Explorer,,the thing runs like a Bat-out-of -Hell,,and it sure does sound good, when you tromp on it,,,I can just amagine what a tuner, and an aftermarket Intake would make it run,, and sound like ,, my GF has got 7 k + miles on mine already, only had it 5 months .

It runs fine but I personally hate the shift points on it and that was the major reason for looking for a programmer or chip for it.

I don't have a aftermarket intake on this, Bone stock it is.
