Rooto brand professional drain cleaner. You'll have to look around for this one; it flat out outperforms any of the common brands (Drano, Liquid Plumber, Red Devil lye). Lots of sulfuric acid in this product; there will be a *wonderful* smell comming out of your vent pipes and your neighbors will just love ya for it .

*Anyone using this product had better carefully read the instructions, this is nasty stuff with the potential to seriously hurt you.

-------

Diazinon insect spray, there's no effective substitute IMO. Glad I stockpiled, good luck finding it.

Windex wipes. So much easier than a spray bottle and paper towels.
I'm also quite fond of gasoline, for powering outdoor appliances of varying sizes.

The George Foreman Grill, for guilt free beef!

My wife would say her Dyson Vacuum cleaner is the best thing ever invented. It should be, for $400!!

I think Goo Gone is priceless.

Deisel fuel and matches!

The fuel works great as a weed killer, insect spray and fire starter.
Matches, nuff said!

Plus with these two items there is no need for a paper shredder!

Comet- the duct tape of the cleaning world.

409- for everything you wouldn't/couldn't use Comet on, except the woodwork

Murphy's Wood Soap- for the woodwork.

Windows: I use warm water with a little dish-washing liquid, a sponge, and a towel. No streaks like with Windex.

Essential tools: An old toothbrush (labeled!). No end to the uses around the house. An old synthetic car chamois. A few clean small terrycloth towels. Washrags, sponge w/ scotchbrite, utility brush.

Three kids, three dogs, and I've narrowed the essentials down to this, a carpet vac, and a stick hard-floor vac. I don't do laundry, Mrs. Bear doesn't clean house.

Engine degreaser is good for killing bees. It turns their exoskeleton hard and black and renders them immobile. I would imagine it might harm plant life, though. I've only tested this method on the barren wasteland of my cousin's backyard.

Have to agree with Koop on the Engine Degreaser...that stuff will kill any undesirable insects in a hurry.

www.Gotomypc.com....it's a remote access program that let's you basically look at the desktop of one computer (like an office one) from another (like your home one). It's not quite Comet Cleanser, but it's come in handy more than once.

Purple Power...that stuff will clean just about anything. Don't like the smell so much, but it's strong.

Good ole' fashioned road salt sprayed with calcium (I think)...I've tried everything to get the road paint that they use for lines off of the wheel wells and rockers of my car. EVERYTHING. The only thing that worked was last winter, kicking off some ice and snow that had formed around my front wheels after driving, and it took off the road paint like it was nothing.

Chipotle Chili Powder goes great with everything from chili to tacos to Mac n cheese. I'd have to make that and garlic powder my spice cabinet staples.

Fast Orange and Purple Power will clean the heck out of anything.

Chipotle Chili powder and Garlic powder...absolute staples of any spice cabinet.

Remote access websites so I can do a little "work" work while I'm at home and finished my homework. I use one, but last time I tried posting I put the address in and it wouldn't let me post. It's a common one though.

Straight road salt and that calcium spray they put on the highways. I had some highway line paint on my wheel wells and rockers, and after a trip in the snow and slush, I kicked off all of the snow accumulated under my car. It took the road paint with it like it was no big deal...no off the shelf products have been able to do this yet.
