What size tires?

If you get some pics, I would love to check it out.

I think it looks pretty cool...thanks

I'll take several pics tomorrow...working right now. I'll post several pics i took of the rear lift blocks before install too.

I believe if your looking for a rig as you described...this would probably suit your needs. i have taken it up a pretty steep rocky and grass incline prior to the lift. It does a really good job...Freaked my mother out a little...hahahaha

The tires are 205x75rx15 General Grabber AT2. They fit with no problems on a stock Aerostar (27 1/8" tall). If I had the lift prior to the tires, I could have went a little larger tire. The speedometer is electronic, and more accurate now than before.

The rims are American Racing Baja AR172 (15 x 7). A 215 series tire would have fit a little easier on the rim. The 205 is narrow and hard to set the bead.

The 215 would have been 27 3/4" tall, and i feared rubbing when i turned due to the additional 10 cm (appx 3/8").

I am planning to install a rear sway bar...

I will probably lower the rear brake line connection just to be safe. I am adding a stock used bracket, a short length of brake like and just reconnect. No modification to the hard line on the van.

Adding this lift DID affect the CAMBER of the front. It appears to be negative...but a little negative will make it handle better...i will get it checked when i have time, just to verify the numbers.

P.S. excuse my welds...I haven't welded in a while and should have practiced before i did these. I was in a hurry to get it done.

I welded the galvanized and got kind of nauseous for 24 hours...I took precautions, but not enough i guess...and milk doesn't help much after your already sick...f.y.i.

Zinc poisoning isn't very fun...lol

The 4.0 is adequate for power. I have towed stuff with this....
Typically utility trailers to the dump, etc....

I think i need to repalced my MAF again...The truck has a slow pulse feeling when i am going down the freewat

Rear wheelwell

The 4.0 is a much better engine than the 3.0. I have read there were a lot of problems with that engine.

I was wondering if you used the same blocks for the front as you used for the back? As I have a 93 aero and with about 270 on it and I was exploring the idea of turning it into a mudder or a wood hauler but I don't thing the stock 14 will handle the train as well as a meater 15 inch tire would

actually the 3.0 is more 'solid'. The 4.0 has an issue with rear engine seal leaks. The 3.0 rarely leaks. For more horsepower one can always change their differentials to a lower gear.
