Did Ford make a dual rear wheel 8 ft bed on their 1973-1979 Ford trucks? I mean an 8 ft bed with fender extensions on the rear wheel wells from the factory.
I saw a 78? F350 with the dually rear. It has a custom made 8" bed. Looks factory. Now, that's a beefy truck. Ford made factory dually rears in their trucks, but limited to platform, stake or chassis type.
I'm not very familiar with the 73-79 ford pickup but i know a guy that has a 79 ford pickup that is a crewcab longbed dually. now it was not a factory job because i helped him build it. We took a crewcab shortbed and extended the frame two feet to fit the longbed box. Then he ordered some dually fenders from jc whitney for a 73-79 pickup. they ran about 280-300(i think). now i don't know if these are a factory design or something that is some company building them. but they do look factory. and it is a really sharp truck.
just thought i would put some input in.
I have seen a few '73-'79 F-350 duallys with pickup beds. The ones I have seen were '73-'79 ford pickup beds with fenders from '73-'90 chevy dually trucks.
