Surely someone has run into this before.....

I am in the process of restoring a '91 XL 3.0 LWB. Part of the restoration is to add all the power do dahs and nice seats and trim, etc. from my wrecked '90 Eddie Bauer 3.0 LWB. Rather than removing the power windows, door locks and mirrors and attempting to fit them to the '91s doors, I have decided to just move all of the doors from the 90 to the 91 and then hook up the wiring harness for the power stuff. In the process of taking the trim panel off the door, some of the plastic fasteners are pulling out of the holes in the fiber trim panel. Once that happens the hole is too large to put new fasteners in. Does anyone have a viable fix for this? I have thought about using epoxy to fasten the ones that pulled out......

If you have fabric on your doors, you could slit a very small hole, and drill a self tapping screw in. then use some light epoxy or rip repair stuff to seal the slit.
If no fabric, they sell a plactic "Cup and cap" that you can use a screw through. The screw goes through the cup, and once tightened, the cap goes over it. Looks factory. Pretty sure you can get them at any RV parts store.

Or, you could glue a larger washer to the back of the plastic fastner. That might do the trick. If the hole is larger, wrap the fastener with good old electrical tape to make the body larger.
