new cold weather grille and new cps..!

i got the stuff from ebay today... got the new putco cold weather grille insert... wow... my tranny temp gauge actually moved..! i thought it might be broken because it hasn't moved in a month..! and i put the new cps in... i DEFINATELY noticed a much improved startup...! i think the first cylinder that hit compression fired... before it was about 2 - 3 seconds of cranking before it would fire... after the new cps install it didn't turn over for more that a second or so and VRRRROOOOOMMMMM...! it did seem a little smoother on idle also... check out the pics of the grille and let me know what ya'll think..!

i bet it looks alot better in the light. it doesnt look too good in those pics, must be the lighting. that practically blocks 100% of the flow to the radiator, what temps are you running on the engine?

i will take some pics tommorow morning and post them tommorow night... the light was bad, but i couldn't resist..! it does block the entire opening, but it has eight openings around it that let air in, and lots of air still flows up from below... i'll be curious to see how it does out on the highway... my tranny temp gauge moved, but barely... it still didn't make it to 100 degrees... i'll be watching it real close.... i think that kwik runs a grille that blocks alot of his grille opening in the summer and he says he has no probs with temps...
