Wild '57 coming soon

Ran across this guys' website looking for inspiration. Really just depressed me on how little money I have for my projects.

That is very cool. I think I saw the build pics in the very beginning of the build.

Yeah, Jake. Cubic bucks buy nice trucks.

The guy is definitely a craftsman and quite the artist, tho.

I like the tailgate concept ... a little bit fancier than what Ford picked out for these trucks but still looks somewhat period-correct.

Seems like a lot of work and expense to make a Ford look like a Chevy - You guys like the rounded look of the fat fenders but there are those of us that like the squared off look that started in 57 and lasted well into the 90s.

I know - I know, aerodynamics of a brick, but they look mean as hell.

The difference between a bulldog and a greyhound - the greyhound will dance around you but the bulldog will either knock you aside, or just go over the top of you.

Different strokes - but we can agree they are doing a first rate job. Wish I had that engine and tranny for my 59. . .

I realize that I don't know that era as well as I know the 53-56's but I'm having a real hard time figuring out what he did to the body. I'm sure that's a good thing to a fabricator.

Did he raise the bed wall or section the cab or both? It looks hot either way.

According to the article the cab was sectioned, chopped, and pancaked for a total loss of 6". I love seeing metalwork by the pros!
