need a little more traction

I would like to install some kind of limited slip unit in place of the open diff in my 98 F150 XL 4x2. Does someone sell a good, reliable aftermarket unit that can take daily driving, some lite hauling, and some lite towing? Can I get a unit from FoMoCo?

thanks in advance.

If you feel a little wealthy, an ARB air locker is a pretty good idea.

If thats the case, I believe any 8.8 from a Mustang, T-bird, or f150 will work. They are pretty much all the same unless someone changed axles (28 to 31, etc). Dime a dozen in any boneyard, usually a decent price too.

my 4wd 99 f-150 has a limited slip...not sure of the ratio...but it leave posi tracks everywhere...i would try to find one of those...i would think it would fit right in...try e-bay bone yard or an ad book in your area.
