1998 F-150 4x4/hub

anyone have any suggestions on how to get right front hub unstuck. feels like its still engaged. thanks

Not trying to sound funny, but it's stuck on purpose. That's the design. The system is engaged at the differential, no hubs involved. Perhaps its the wheel bearing? If you suspect that front axle is engaged when you have the selector in 2 HI then jack the truck up and check the front drive shaft for rotation. It should spin freely on its own and not be spun when the front tires are rotated.

it was the front hub assembly {wheel bearing} thanks ,boy i feel dumb thanks for the help guys
