I have a '90 F250 w/ the dana 50 TTB. My problem is, the mount for the right side axle housing is mangled. After buying the truck 2 years ago, I discovered that backing up caused the front wheels to toe WAY in, caused by the above mentioned mount missing the 2 bolts going up into the crossmember, and the horizontal bolts finally letting loose after somewhat holding the bracket on for who knows how long. I replaced the bolts, but the alignment of the bracket must be off, causing a binding in the front axle (makes a kathump kathump kathump noise in 4WD). I'm sure the inner u-joint is trashed, but I need to find a new mounting bracket before I tear into it. Any thoughts? I will check with the local salvage yard, but would prefer new.
