Help!!!!!!!

I am in a fix... Wrung the gas filter off in the carb, and my antifreeze only protects to 20 degrees. I can probably borrow the cash to fix the carb, but need any help I can get hold of to 1) either remove and replace said carb or 2) drain what passes for 'coolant' out of the block. If anybody in the Knoxville area could PM me I would appreciate it.

Gas Filter: Get some PB BLASTER spray, and soak that sucker good! Then get or borrow an EZ OUT to pull the stub out of the carb. If there is any thread damage, use the right size tap (preferably a "Bottoming Tap") to clean up the threads.

ANTI-FREEZE: TAKE CARE OF THIS FIRST! If you crack your engine block, the carb will be nickles and dimes compared to what that takes to fix!!!

Drain out the old stuff into a basin, save every bit of it! Pour it into a jug, and add more anti freeze until it comes to about a 50% mix of AF and water. Pour this mix back in, then drain the system again. I'm assuming the engine is not running at this point, and that you have to use the radiator drain petcock to do this.

Refill the system with the 50% mixture (test it).

By draining the whole works, you are emptying the block as much as you can. Doing it twice will ensure the fresh AF gets into the block and restores any trapped coolant to what it needs to be.

Take your time, let it bubble down in and keep topping it off.

Drain out a gallon, then pour in some 100%, let it cycle, test it, pour in more if need higher. I've done this before, it won't take a full gallon of 100%, sine you only have a tops of 4 in the entire system.
