Snow Going

I took the 85 out lastnight. She died in less than a mile and didn't want to start. Seems fuel related as when it was dying I pumped the pedal for a while to BARELY keep it going. After sitting 2 minutes she started right up. The truck hadn't been used for months and I think when the tank got filled crap washed free in the tank and I need to replace the fuel filter... anyway gonna check it out this weekend.

i do the same thing, i haul a flatbed to chicago every night and then load back up for mount pleasant, i wonder how many times we have run across each other. i usually leave mediapolis around 7pm, arrive in chicago around midnight i guess, get reloaded around 9 am in the morning and back home by about 4 pm for a shower and supper then do it again 5 nights a week. My truck is a green mack #198 says NELSON on the side. My CB Handle is OPIE

Sunday I put a new fuel filter in the 85 and threw a bottle of de-ice/gas treatment in. Then for a test drive I turned my property into a giant figure 8. It's a trusty beater and I knocked down a bunch of crappy little scrub trees (sapplings) and threw the drainage gully a few times. I had a bunch of fun sling'n mud!
My son-in-law drove it to work and back yesterday... no problems.
