I know of one on ebay, the seller is in Wa. He puts ridiculous prices on his stuff and people buy it. Most of his stuff is driver quality at best.
I guess I'm doing it all wrong because I completely restore them and sell for about the same price. I guess I need to re-think my asking price.
I do have a complete tail gate with panel sitting in my garage. I'm almost done with the panel to reassemble it with.

No Robert. Be yourself. Pride in one's workmanship says a lot. The almighty Dollar be da**ed. Not to mention I'm sure his feedback will go down where as yours won't.

You know I'll be myself, the ones getting hurt are the ones buying his crap.
Reason being, they don't know about this forum or other forums where they can get educated. After they buy from him they find these forums then say how they got burnt. I have people contacting me from ebay after they bought his crap asking me if I can fix it.

Someone suggested to me last year that you can use woodgrain contact paper/shelf liner to replace it. I am a little hesitant to tear the old stuff off as it is in good shape and still has good color when polished. If you come up with anything let us know.

Have any of you guys ever tried Everbrite Protective coating
These stuff is self leveling and can refresh coats right over the old coatings
Good for just about everything, I used it on my polished intake manifold.
lasted about a yr.

A friend of mine used Everbrite on his aluminum moldings and grill and it looks great, almost brand new looking. Im tempted to use it on my moldings and grill because polishing it every year simply SUCKS. The jury is still out on me using it though......just waiting to see how it holds up. Been on his moldings for about 6 months and I swear it looks new.

I'm the proud owner of a 1972 Ford f100 Ranger XLT and I'm in the market to purchase the woodgrain tailgate panel. I would love to see some pics of the item.

I currently have 4 panels and a super nice tail gate.

As soon as I get one of them ready I'll post pictures of it.
If you're finish with the tailgate, I would love to see the pics!!
