It's not so much the price as it is being ripped off. I'm going to do it myself. Maybe not the 23rd of Dec, 2005, But I will do it. The tools are going to cost me $325-$400. I'm self employed. I know about overhead. And I know the dealers are making off like bandits.

I also know this is my 100th post.

Jimbo have you had a chance to check it out and see if the cups are really the problem? Maybe we can stop in one of these stealerships and talk a wrench into renting his tools .If we can find one that has them . My dad has some friends over at Ron Campbell in Cabot but I would like to make sure we need them before I play that card. Let me know.

i know its no fun... I HAVE NEVER PAID ANYONE TO WORK ON MY STUFF EXCEPT ALIGNMETS....so i hear ya. you could definitely sell those on ebay. there is a lot of rotunda tools on there for sale except the ones needed. or just keep em and rent em out to folks who need them. require a 300.00 deposit and return it upon return of tools and charge 50 bucks or so. shoot if i needed em i would pay you that.

barebackjake do you want to sell me your tools????????????

That's no problem. I know someone with a kit for most vehicles.

puled off the otc/spx web site " OTC products are also available at NAPA, Carquest, Pep Boys, AAPA, CSK, Cornwell, Matco, Mac Tools, Medco, O'Reilly Auto Parts, ISN, and Weiss. Or contact the closest OTC Warehouse Distributor and they will direct you to the nearest OTC Tool and Equipment Jobber." so call all of them with your part number and get a quote

Don't know about the other places but NAPA can't or won't get it. OTC told me the only place to get it was the Ford dealer/pusher.
