302 in a Ranger

I am thinking about putting a 302 in a Ranger. Anybody done this? I am just researching for now, I'm think about a '93 or so. Anything I really should look out for?

Ford made a 5.0 Explorer so lots of those part should work for swapping in to a Ranger other than that there are several Ranger swap kits out there try the Ranger forum.

Actully I was hopeing to get a look at one to, I looked through the ranger forum all very generic stuff.

I don't quite have those abilities quite yet dennis

, but i believe hes wanting to know if anyone in here has down this or knows where there is one so he could take a look

Actually my dad just picked up a range that had this swap (actually aa 289), but they made the motor mounts so the oil filter would clear the crossmember, but a oil filter relocator (like 56 bucks american through summit) would've fixed this and proper motor mounts could've been used, so essentially any pictures from this would be useless. And offhand i don't know anyone else that has done this in the clagary area.

There's at least one (and maybe a few) V8 Rangers down in Lethbridge,
One really sweet blue one, I think it has a 351.

I knows there a 347strokers in edmonton that runs 11's in the quarter (smoked me good

) the motor swap looks factory too, very well done.
