well i'm gonna go with the corteco gasket set...i just tore down my motor today so i should go get the measurments of the corteco and let ya'll know what they are. i'm surprised no one else on here has used corteco. my dad had problems with his head gaskets leaking coolant on his I-6 170 in his '68 mustang. he went through 2 felpros that both leaked in the same place-put a corteco on there and still is sealed up to this day. very nice kit but is on the expensive side. around $100 for retail- half price through my machinist though so it's only 10 more than the felpro. anyways is the porting really noticeable power wise?? any guess as to how many more hp or torque. thanks!

what a question, an engine is an air pump. The more air in and out the more power. Yes porting really helps.

If you are going to port the heads, a Dremel tool will not hold up to the amount of grinding you will need to do. An air die grinder or an electric die grinder will be much faster and last MUCH longer.

FE 360 4 BBL Intake

I found a 4 BBL cast iron intake manifold w/a part number of C5AE9425C off of a 1965 Ford Thunderbird 390, 428. I would like to put it on my 1973 F100 360, will this intake work?

I hate to throw the monkey in the wrench and all, but the C5AE9425C intake is in fact a medium riser. I had to port match my C8AE-H heads in order to run the two together, so if you have D2TE heads, which should be bikerwoody's heads, that is what will be required, not porting the intake.
