Advice needed from suspension people!

Well, i've had the 8"radius arm Fabtech lift kit in for about 5 months now with 38" nitto mud grapplers. The steering has felt loose since I got it, but doesn't cause any problems. Looking to possibly beef up the suspension. Will a dual steering stabilizer take care of the problem? Also thinking about doing dual shocks all around or possibly gas shocks, any opinions? I have blocks stacked right now and I was thinking about going all spring, Fabtech rear leaf spring kit is $1800 big ones, anyone know of some better options? And most importantly, i've been on the stock 3.73's, what gears should i go to and where do I get them? Any advice on any of these questions would be awesome. Thanks

Chip

I will suggest to get rid of those stacked blocks ASAP. You never want to stack lift blocks due to the flex on the rear you can spit one out very easily. On the rear springs check at National Tire and Rim and see what other options you have to get the rear up without the blocks. I know Superlift makes an 8" rear leaf kit that might solve your problem. If you want to upgrade the shocks go with the Bilsteins they are great for the super duties. (you may want to consider the dual shock thing as it will stiffen up the ride quite a bit and make you spill your coffee.) Now for the steering stabilizers I went with dual Bilsteins and they work well. (I have 37" claws). But if your having steering problems the stabilizers will only cover up the real problem. You may want to take it to a good shop and have the front end checked for worn parts. (I put the duals on to improve the appearance of the truck and the single factory unit worked until I upgraded.) Hope this helps you out some.

Might want to post this in the suspension forum if you don't get the answers you seek here.
