Regarding the rear-end gearing: I drove a couple of truck this past weekend. Both had the 5.4L. One had 3.55 gears while the other had the 3.73.

I was unimpressed with the 3.55. In fact, even I was surprised that there was such a noticeable difference.

I'd strongly suggest getting the 3.73

Thanks, Jack... that looks like it will work for basic audio... but does not handle the data exchange... XM channel/title/artist display, steering wheel/head unit controls, etc. it is just rediculous that in 11/05 it is so hard to get basic sat radio integration on a Ford vehicle... let alone digital AM/FM which I am sure we will have to wait another 5 years for!

Come on Ford! How can you call your top of the line Audiophile and not have this type of connectivity and features... it is 15 year old technology...
