shift kits and 1/4 mile

Does anyone have proof that a shift kit for a c6, or any automatic, improved their 1/4 mile time? No other changes made, just the shift kit.

The shifts will be quicker, so it should drop the 1/4 mile time some. The best part is that it will increase the longevity of the transmisson because the pressures in the trans will high for a shorter period of time.

It also makes the vehicle more fun to drive.
