Give me your address, your schedule, and leave the safe open .....
I got a 7mm-08 four years ago and reload my own-never seen factory ammo...four years, four shots (all running) and four bucks...plus my first hog with this gun (200lbs.)...or second...I forgot. I've only been hunting deer for four years so all my other rifles have been for hogs: 30-06, .338Mag (overkill), 30-30, and several with my .357GP100 and one small one with the .45ACP Commander...but my goal this friday night is one with my .44mag super blackhawk...haven't got one with that yet.
I use my dads Marlin 336 30-30 when im brush hunting, but in the field the 30-06 nocks em' dead. My farthest shot with my 30-06 is 450 yards. Last year thats how I filled my last doe tag.
Just wanted to see what caliber everyone deer hunted with? I hunt with a 30-06. It is a remington 760 gamemaster.
I'm with you on this one. I use the Remington 7600 in 30-06. The new version of the 760. My brother got Grampa's 760 Gamemaster in 30.06. Plus my dad picked up a 760 last year. Hasn't used it though. He likes his Marlin .32 SPL.
