PCV Valve Location????

Can anyone tell me where the PCV valve is located on a 2001 Ford Escape 6cyl 4X4????

bananaboat is starting off with a positive reputation.
Page 6-28 of the Haynes manual states it's on the left side of the valley between the cylinder heads. They removed the intake manifold for clarity but it's in a tight spot. I'd compare to mine but I no longer have the V6...got an I4 now.

I think I found it from you description but I can't get it out. It is very hard to get to even with the throttle body removed. Any ideas on how to get it out????

Step 29 (after you've disconnected all the hoses) - Disconnect the PCV valve from the crankcase vent oil separator. Unscrew the PCV valve - don't try to just pull it out.
