kickdown question

i have a Carter AFB and it is the 625 it also has the kick down linkage but i wanna put a larger carb on the engine but i wonder if the kickdown linkage will come off of the carter and i can put it on my new edelbrock

If it bolts to the outside of the linkage it should, if not, Edelbrock sells the bolt-on kit.
