Old Ford engine data

I fhave posted some data on old Detroit engines and some on the big Ford V8's. I have a lot more data on them that I can post if some are interested. I have it going back to 61 for gas and diesel engines.

It looks like that website is down at the moment. I have data on trucks back to 1970 and cars back to 1941 from ancient service manuals with yellowed and somewhat brittle pages. I have to be careful handling them. If anyone has info they would like me to host I have web space available. PM or email me if you are interested in getting the data hosted. Old data is getting hard to find and needs preservation.

My manuals go back to 59 but they are in good shape. I got hit by some hackers and I am making a few changes to prevent it from happening again before I bring it back on line.

I have some Mitchell truck manuals that go back into the 50s or 60s, I will have to look. I also have an old National Service Data that goes from sometime in the 30s to 1949. If you want I can scan the approriate sections for you.

If you organize the information it could be preserved as a tech article on FTE. Other than that I have some room on the FTE servers and some personal webspace where it can be hosted so the information is not all in one "basket" where it could be lost in some sort of server accident.

I will work on scanning it into pdf format, it may take a while though as it is a lot of data. I can host it on my own website if needed since I do have a bit of space available.

Any "data" I post at my site is backed up up 2 ways in addition to web posting. One by the web server backup and the second by a offline backup. I have never "lost" anything yet.

I try to leave "luck" out of the equation and not depend on it to save the day. Proper backups or important data saves the day not luck.
