my 302 outta time i need help

in my engines class at college i have my engine down to a block i want a new cam i want one to produce a lot of low end torque. the heads are e7te im learning a lot more about this engine than i thought also its bored .040 over i found out. i wanna simply re build it with a good cam an put it back into my f250 so i can rebuild the 429 i have in it. ne help on finding a good cam an lifter setup would be appreciated. in the end the truck jus has to get out of the garage an on the road i wanna use it more like an extra vehicle or parts truck.

Low end torque is all relative with the 302, what that means is it'll feel strong in a 3000lb car, but weak in 5000lb truck. So don't expect miracles with a new cam, it will make the motor stronger for sure, but the 5.0 will never be a torque monster. Is your truck EFI or carb? There are quite a few cams you could use but in general keep the intake duration below about 260 degrees advertised but with as much lift as possible (max about 0.525" at the valve to avoid spring bind) and the motor will make about as much TQ as it is capable of producing.
