Brake Light

I took the initiative to replace my brake pads all around my truck. The pads came off and were replaced easily.

Problem - the brake light is now on?

Suggestions?

Is it the brake light or ABS light? If it is the brake light, the switch probably just got out of adjustment. You can readjust it very easily. It is attached the the brake pedal. If it is your ABS light, It would probably be the sensors not reading correctly at eh disks. Did you replace the disks when you changed the pads?

brake light

I just did the pads. I was away on a hunting trip and the brakes began to squeal. I picked up pads - but not rotors - they apppeared to be just fine.

The brake light - red light - is on now. The light began to flicker some days ago and now its just on when the truck is on.

Do as cleevesj says and adj the brake switch, or it could be going bad. If the adjustment is good then check gor bad wires.
