The 'Little Red Wagon' was fun to watch, I recall seeing it at Lions Dragstrip along with the 'Green Mamba Jet' car. A great memory with my Dad and Grandfather.
The other great memory was the 64 Funny Car night at Orange County International Raceway. They parked all 64 on the track and fired them up at the same time. A kidney rattling, eye burning, ear drum shaking time!

There are 3-pages, check 'em all out. A monster engine in a very light, stripped car with a 4-speed...

www.cyclonesfamousfords.com is the best sight I have ever been too. If it doesnt work I think you should just do a search. It was hard to find. My father took my sister to the drag races when we where little. She is older than me so I couldnt go--- I was like 3-4. She got to see don garlets get beat by shurley muldowney(sp) at lancaster speedway in Buffalo, New York. That race is in the movie about them. I wish I was there. It doesnt matter anyway she doesnt even remember it.

if any one wants a trip back in time to when these cars ran. take a day when in FL. and stop in occalla at big daddy don's shop. ford, chevy, dodge and you name it. all restored and in a great place. veiw , n.o.s. hemis in glass cases, ford 427 ohc, hemis the same way, one of the few remaining hemi/ohv kits for the ford flathead. every thing in there can run at any point.
it's true drag racing history. cars, rails, jet rails, even one with a p51 mustang engine that was barred from running as it was to fast. to think i grew up watching almost every one run at some point.
