"Water in fuel" indicator...
OK, not a big deal, but at 2500 miles the "Water in Fuel" text came up on the dash just as I pulled into the driveway.
It's pouring rain, and I really don't want to have to deal with getting under the truck right now, and I have to be at work early tomorrow (probably still raining).
How long can I let this go? Another day (maybe another 100 miles)?

Cool, thanks.
Whe I started it up this morning, there was no inidicator, and I didn't see anything all the way to work. I'll get it taken care of when I get home tonight.
Of course, there's a full tank of fuel, so this is going to be a bit messy. Good thing I have the valve and not the plug.

Does anybody know if you can buy the valve on-line? I really don't live or go by the dealer very often. I had to do mine on the side of the road one time and got that junk all over me. With another 500 miles to go on our trip, my family could not wait for me to stop and change my shirt. A valve would be nice.

BP22, Great link! Its the first picture of the plug I have seen. May get one but I have become pretty effcient with my allen wrench and wal-mart plastic bag. Put hand in bag, loosen plug, drain into bucket. I can now do it with out getting diesel on myself and/or front shaft...most of the time, well, sometimes. Ok, I have done it once and stayed clean. I think I will get that plug. Ha
