Exclamation Leaves In Heater/AC Fan

1999 Ford Explorer

When i turn the heater or ac fan on i hear what sounds like leaves blowing around under the passenger side of the dashboard. Probably the stupid tiny leaves that fall off the trees around my apartment. Whats the easiest way to get these out? Its pretty annoying and also the fan seems to sound louder like its working harder.

Not familiar with how the blower motor comes out on your vehicle but removing the blower is the only way I know of for getting at anything caught in the blower chamber.

My experience too, although I have had luck waiting until the leaves dry out completely and then playing with the heater controls, varying temperature, where the air comes out, and fan speed. Anything that changes the air flow in the fan chamber has the potential of dislodging the leaves or debris.
