I talked to the head tech for the dealership that I bought mine from about rather or not bully dog would void the warrenty, and he said as long as I didnt cause the turbo to seperate or totally burn anythin, that they wouldnt cause me any grief. I would check with the local dealership though, it really depends on management from your local dealer.

tex is right, it all depends on the dealer you are dealing with. Some are fine about it and others give hard times. I baught my truck from one dealer and get all the service at another. WHY? the service dealer sells and installs Banks kits on trucks and even will install a chip if you want. Granted I have a tuner not a chip.

I love mod's on my vehicle. For the life of me, I cannot understand why someone whould get upset at a dealer after altering the vehicle. Weather it is ride height, tire size, PCM reprogramming, or what else. When you alter the vehicle from factory set up, you take the risk of getting challenged on warranty work.

its 100% up to the guy thats actually wrenches on your truck, if hes cool enough to erase the trouble code that comes up when something goes wrong because of the chip. He has to scan your truck and then send the codes to the service manager, so if that code makes it to the service manager ur f***ed. Just hope your dealer is good to you thats all i can say. Im on my 3rd motor in 24k miles on my 05 PSD, im just lucky to have a good dealer. to be honest talking to your service manager about it before hand doesnt say much, just my .02 cents

I thought all the programmers and chips have a deal where you can read and erase the trouble codes? I know the outlook monitor I have for my bully dog lets me do that.
