OEM Wheels

The dealer in Norco CA has "numerous" sets of OEM F150 aluminum 18 rims. $400 a set, like new tires and rims, mounting and balancing.

That seems like a great deal!

I bought a set of 05 Lariat "Take Offs" from my dealer. I got wheels, tires, caps and lug nuts for $400. The tires had about 15 miles on them. I feel I got a good deal. You sure can't by the tires for $400.

i see them pretty often on craigs list for cheap once i saw the 17 in. fx4s for $250 the 18 inch lariats are from $250-300 and the regular xlts and stx wheels and tires go for nothing, i was thinking about getting some just to go bouncing around in the dirt.

Thats not a bad price. Getting ready to spend $1115 for 4 BFG all-Terrain TA's to replace the junk BFG Rugged trails. The truck has just under 11,000 miles and the rugged trail's are 1/2 gone and hydroplane at the thought of rain. Getting rid of them B4 the truck ends up in the ditch and bent. Going to put the 285/65/18 TA KO's on the stock wheels. I think that crossed over to a 33 10.50. I hope to have pictures posted monday night. IMO skip the 18 inch wheels. not very many tires to choose from and the price is very high. Stick with the 17's or jump to the 20's. (I wish I had an extra $800 to follow my own advice and go with the 20's)

That's a nice option to have. I'm getting ready to order an XLT and not sure which wheels to get (chrome steel or painted aluminum) - not too thrilled with either choice but I think the chrome would probably look better with my truck. Maybe I'll just go with the chrome (standard wheel) and then if I don't like it I can look around at the dealers for some good deals.
