Hello to everyone at the Ford Truck Enthusiasts Club. I am a new member and I am looking for information on 1994 Ford Explorer knock- sensor . Where is it located on the engine ?

Look till you are blue in the face, cause you aren't going to find one. They didn't put them on the early Explorers.
If you are having pinging issues, I suggest you search this forum for MAF cleaning and vacuum leak issues (lower intake manifold gaskets and loose bolts).

Kind of like calling up the autoparts store and asking them to look up muffler bearings.
