Well, I'm not very happy about My 2005 4X4 Crewcab 6.0. I drove my truck without my camper and quads up the same mountains and the difference in "fuel" mileage was only about 3.4 gallons MPG. Thinking about all the threads that I have read. I guess Power has been the focus of Manufacturers instead of both power and mileage. Can't I get BOTH????? (without installing a tuner). My '96 and '98 Dodge got 10.2 mpg towing and 19 mpg highway. Both were 4X4 2500's. Are the NEW engines coming out going to provide both? I'm ready
yeah dodges are firmly in the 9s and 10s for street trucks and the 2 fastest diesel dragsters are done to like 6 7 8 somewhere in there as for the duracrap remark the 6.0 is not perfect and i do not own one so i think i can say that when all i ever change is an o ring now and then or a glow plug at 155000 while its not long before chevy is replacing the injectors or melted heads well i guess at that point its a whole new engine
I know a guy who has an 01 with the 24 valve cummins and his runs high 12's in the quarter. I mean we're talkin about a 3/4 ton cab and a half truck here. That might not seem like a lot, but for a big truck with a heavy engine, thats crankin.
