Fuel Pump Died

I'm sure glad i purchased the EZ Care extended warranty when i bought my new 2002 F150.

The fuel pump died the other day in front of my house. Engine cranked but would not fire. My 1st thought was it was not getting any fuel. Called the dealership and they had the truck towed in. They called me 3 hrs later telling me it was the fuel pump.

It was fixed the next day for a grand total of $712.00 My cost was $0. The tow was included. They even sent a shuttle to come pick me up at the house when the truck was ready.

While they had my truck they installed the new brake switch and fused harness for the cruise control recall campaign.

This story had a very happy ending.
