Blinking Overdrive light (on/off) on gear shift
My overdrive light on the gear shift keeps blinking and it is for certain I am out of overdrive. And my check engine light came on. Any ideas.

Check the switch it a very common problem with all fords. Just make sure that it operates.

I had the same problem in my excursion. I replaced the speed sensor in the rear differential and the problem was solved. Hope this helps.

could also be a shift pack solinoid going bad. get it scanned by shop of your choice and let use know what the code is.
