Technocarb propane systems!!!

I picked up a technocarb carb off ebay for a reasonable price- knew nothing about them or the carb except it would flow big numbers for my 400. So I did my research and am really impressed. Mine is being totally rebuilt by my head mechanic but it can be cause of it's a quadrajet base.

It makes sence that a Canadian company would eventually step up due to their advanced propane delivery and use systems.

If you are serious about a propane build follow mine at the 335 forum under 'dyno this'. I am speeding a lot of time getting as much knowledge as i can to build a motor that others can use to improve upon and you may have info I could use right now.

This is way beyond impco and impco isn't bad!

I'm thinking about building a 410 FE to run on propane. I've got the block & a 410/428 crank & D2 heads so far. I can't go much further until I decide what the body & general use will be.

that 2nd link is new to me...will be checking it out. The other 2 are frustrating as they could be useful if someone took the time.....

thanks and good luck with your build. I'm spending over 3.5k on mine and it is going to be awesome....

The second link is actually from alternate fuels racing.
I've got a couple of used propane pieces & an "in-trunk" tank that will have to be re-certified. So, I could propane my 97 Ranger any old time, but because I really don't drive it much, it might not be the best way to invest my hard earned cash.
