Yeah I saw that too kinda thought abuot it but figured what could I possibly write about or know about that would be of interest to anyone so probably won't bother.
Not that I don't think it's a good idea, and hope there are some good things to come out of it.

I have tried, but I guess it wasn't good enough, it seems to be more important to submit articles about electronic gadgets and such than to worry about those of us still running Naturally aspirated diesels and modifying the exhaust. I saw the atricles they accepted at the same time I put mine in, and that was all that was accepted during that time, so I figure why bother...

Monster?

With your total disregard for what ought to be on a frame, and how to put what you want on it - I'd have thought you would be the first one to jump right in there...

I haven't submitted anything yet. I've got a couple decent write ups between my site and a couple threads here but again it's more specialty stuff that will be very useful to very few people.

Are we talking about the "getting paid to do a tech article"??

I'm thinking about doing a "upgrade interior" article when I take the interior of my 88 F-150 and upgrade it to the interior out of a newer (94-96) F-150. I was cruising the junk yards yesterday and I THINK I found my "donor dash."

I'm also going to use:
-The steering column (with wiper controls on the turn signal)
-door panels
-convert to PDL and windows
-**** climate controls

It will take me a lot more time because I will have to stop to document and take pictures, but hopefully what I learn can become useful to anyone wanting to keep the IMO the better looking front end, with the newer interior!

Over in the 48-60 forum we got about three group effort tech articles just getting underway right now. We did a few in the past as well....

I probably will once the 'cheap truck' project finally reaches the top of the list.

Unfortunately, it got bumped down the list when my wife hammered my Jeep into a tree. So until I get that straighted out, it continues to sit.
