Chapter Meeting, Saturday November 12th

For all those interested, I'd like to suggest that we hold a chapter meeting at the NC State Fairgrounds on Staurday, November 12th. This will be during their weekend long car show and swap meet at the fairgounds. I think the best thing would be to meet at the Dorton Arena at 1:30PM, where we can all sit and discuss our options for getting this chapter up and running.
I've attached a poll to this thread to see how many people we can expect. If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email me. I'll be sending out a reminder to those who are currently on our mailing list. If you want to be placed on the list, then please forward your contact information along to me.

Art, I plan on going to the show, and will try to meet there with you. Something could come up, but for now it's in the lineup.

Well I was expecting to be in Wilmington that weekend, but I do believe that is changing. Good chance I'll be able to stop in to the show.

Art -

Where do you plan on meeting at Dorton? Although I have been there a few times I can't say that I know the layout too well.

Just go to the main entrance doors of the Dorton Arena. We'll see who shows up and go inside to meet. I think they'll have the concession stands open in there for whoever wants food or drinks.

Art, The restaurant is in the Graham bld.

Just look for a handful of good looking guys in a huddle.

Hey Art....

Guess I was at the wrong entrance to Dorton Arena. It was the only working entrance (behind the concession stand) so I asked around for 1/2 hr but apparently you were at a different entrance.
We'll have to be a bit more specific at the next meet.

I met Art, along with my 16 yr. old son, but that was it. The show was the largest that I have seen in years. George Bickel was there with his 66 skinned Lightening truck.

It is still going on today.

I'm still voting for an on-line meeting. Working in Calif. all the dang time really puts a hurt on me for any meetings in NC.

Would anyone be interested in an on line meeting, then perhaps a one on one meeting in the late winter/early spring?

I know we had on-lines before, but at least the attendance was better. Perhaps we can git 'er done!
