How do I ask for a Reflash?

Exactly how do ask for a Reflash when no one at my dealership seems to know/care what it is? I called my dealership about a reflash of the computer to an updated setting and they said that they haven't had to do that so they don't really know about it. They said that they would call me when they found out something and I haven't heard back from them. Is there a TSB or something out there I can use for ammo against them? My truck is way slow on the draw.

Told my service writer, "my truck idles too fast when cold, and my gas milage is poor!
This reflash, along with a magnaflow catback and airaid cai, woke my truck up!! Now if I could find the magic words to make them fix the driveline shudder!

asked today (err..yesterday)

I called a local dealership (there are a dozen or more within 30 min. of my house), and told the service tech (over the phone) that I had driven my boss's truck and noticed quite a difference in throttle response, and it seemed his shifted a bit differently (timing wise) than mine. I asked if there was a difference between the way his 05 FX4 and my 04 FX4 were set-up electronically...and is there an upgrade or something to get my truck to respond the way his did. He said to bring my truck in next week and he'll see if there are any PCM reflashes that my truck hasn't had. I told him that my truck has only been in once (recall issue), and that I don't think that anything like what he is talking about has ever been done...he seemed more than happy to get me in and get it taken care of

so, I hope to see a difference (if there truly is one) in about a week.
