Used tires in calgary

Anyone got any favorites for used tires in calgary? Looking for something to get a couple thousand miles out of.

What size ?

TOGO Tire on Centre street south (6400 block) near Glenmore trail is okay by me.

I'm not super fussy on the size, as the truck currently has slightly taller tires on the rear than the front, which helps exagerate the forward lean. I can't recall the sizes I have on there right now.

What I'm really hoping for is some that are already mounted on decent 16" 8-bolt rims. I tried to find some at the pick-n-pull, but I think they strip off the good tires and sell them before the trucks hit the lot.

They won't be mounted at TOGO.

Pick Your Part doesn't remove them for themselves.
They can't be bothered.
They will sell no matter what.

Your best bet is to notice what trucks are coming out the next day and get there early.
Timing is everything at PYP.

It make take several trips though.

Yeah the tire size you'll probably want is a 235-85R16 if that helps any.

Try the Blaskin Lane on 17th Ave SE, they have one of the largest selections available in calgary for a reasonable price and they mount your tires also.

There's always one guy in the bargain finder that has his number in there all over the place. I don't know where he gets them all but he seems to have a lot of tires, lots of matching sets in different price ranges too
