Looking For a Tranny

Hi everyone, I live in Lacombe, AB and I am looking for a c-4 transmission, I have a c-6 if anyone has a use for it. I have a 49 ford truck, and I want an automatic, and with some investagation, I have found out that the c-6 that I have is not a good choice. Let me know if you are interested.

pfffffffffffffft c6 is a better tranny then the C4, but other than fitment issues with the tranny tunnel what might be the problem, besides that you might want to post this in the want-add thread as well.

Of the people that I have talked to everyolne is telling me that the c6 will not fit in a 49 ford truck, and that it is to much transmission for the flat head anyway.

I'm surprised neither of those 2 auto wreckers in Lacombe don't have one ?

Or have to asked them ?
