Check the connections for burnt pins. And then pull the covers and check for bad/melted wiring. Please explain the intermitant miss.........

Hi, everyone. I have a similar issue with my 95 7.3L PSD. Mine is not happening during the motor is running. It happens at the start. When I start the truck in the morning, about once every 5 times the motor turns over and dies. Is it called “miss-fire”? It will always start fine when I try again. Also, even in the heat of the summer, it almost never starts with a shot turn of the key and roars if you know what I mean. Batteries are less than a year old, connections, cable all look good, all GPs are new and drawing over 100A measured by a DC clamp meter. Any idea? Thanks Erwin

It's a good place to start. Some fail and the truck is dead, others make stuttering sensations and anywhere in between.
