1994.5, Time for a new clutch-best choice?

What's the best choice for a new clutch, pressure plate, etc.. I'd like to find something stout but with low enough pedal effort that my wife can drive it.

i would go with a southbend clutch i think the pedal stays more consistant over its life
its a complete clutch kit and its a single mass flywheel so its a conversion and when you need a clutch again you can just replace the pressure and friction plates and reuse the flywheel.

I'd use a LUK clutch if I needed one. Using past experience with several replacement clutches I will never, ever again use one from a certain nation auto parts chAin which I will leave unidentified in case they are a sponser here. Every one of them I've installed has been hard to push in and requires full pedal travel to disengage. Given the amount of labor here don't "save" money on parts.

the southbend will give you a better pedal over the luk. both clutches are good choices i just prefer the sb i think its got a lighter pedal and better more consistant feel. there both conversions to single mass flywheel.

As far as I know the SBC is a LUK, with upgraded disc linings. You can get the same options for roughly the same price through FTE sponsors. Carolina clutch comes to mind.
