seal around sliding back window and one piece window the same??

guys, question for those of you who have swaped in rear slider or replaced a rear window... IS THE RUBBER SEAL THAT GOES AROUND ENTIRE BACK WINDOW .. is it the same seal for the single glass rear window and the slider... My question is my sliding back window on my truck is busted, a guy on ebay wants to sell me a one piece(non slider) window for dirt cheap(and he is located only 30 min. from me)... but it does not have the seal around it.. im wondering if the seal around my slider back window will work? anyone know?thanks
Rob.

I dont think they are as My wifes son has a 1988 ext cab, he broke one side, she called glass place he says bring it down, then says the one piece window he has is TOO SMALL< and it will cost her around 300 for a new slider, he said to plexiglass it and glue it in,

He also commented the book called out FIVE different rear windows for the truck.

we are in search of a used also, I would be careful of ebay, I know the slider on his truck the window seemed to be part of the frame for the slide and lock.

Good luck

Rich
