Cool spark plugs flying

I own a 97 F150 4X4 5.4L triton engine V8. Recently i had a sparkplug fly out of my engine.I have been doing some searching and have found similiar cases in the states, is anyone else in canada having this issue? Iwas lucky they were able to rethread the cylinder. Some others have had to change the whole head.

Isn't Fords new feature great? Automatic Spark Plug Ejectors. Lets you know when they need to be changed. I had that problem happen on our Expedition, and the dealership where we were stuck at replaced the entire cylinder head. Many people are able to fix the blowout with a timesert insert.

I just had a spark plug work its way out on my F150 and water get in there, (Its pretty soggy up here in Massachusetts) causing a misfire and all sorts of bad things to happen. Thank god for that warrantee. The mechanic said that he saw the exact same problem on the same model F150 a week earlier. Coincidence?

Built Ford tough my ****. I've put 1400 miles on the truck sense I bought it. Its been to the shop 4 times. Who would've thought that my built 5.0 mustang would be more reliable then my F150?

- should have bought a Sierra
