best chip for fuel mileage?
Could anyone give advice on purchasing the best chip to improve fuel mpg? I have a 4 inch exhaust, kwik filter, 10k mod, fpr shimmed. I drive a 1997 4wd crew cab psd, and already now about keeping rpm's under 2 grand, I don't drive it hard, but I do have some 33 inch bfg's on it. The extra power would be nice, but would love to have 3 to 5 extra mpg. Currently getting about 17 to 18 per gallon. Thanks in advance. Jeff

Yeah I know, 17 to 18 mpg is pretty good for my truck, I have always bought f250 diesel's which will give you higher mpg most of the time. My truck is a auto, and first f250 I owned was a manual 2wd. Surprisingly the 4wd auto does just about the same. I'am have started a pool business here in Phoenix,az., and have looked at foreign trucks, and they don't get much better mpg, and have alot less hauling ability. Thanks for the input. Jeff
