The weekly check in.

Hi everyone how are you doing? Any new or interesting news?

Not much here. Got the week off next week but I don't have any big plans. Have a busy weekend, to many places to go not enough time.

Don't forget about the St. Louis area meet on Sat.

Scott

Started vacation yesterday, girlfriends starts tonight when she gets off. We are going to silver dollar city and then trout fishing. Have to be back in class on monday. then work every day to pay for vacation. Working on shocker II but its going slow right now. Still looking and gathering parts. I want it ready by June next year. Thinking about going to Colorado Springs in July to offroad for a week with some internet friends.

Going to my brothers in Springfield this weekend. Will meet with the show-me f-100 club up there on Saturday evening (I am a member). I am trying to find a 56 f-100 to buy that I can afford.

Have a good weekend Brian_b, if you can mention our club to your club. Good luck finding your F-100.

Chapter meeting this morning was fun - had a good time and enjoyed looking at some of the newer trucks and excursions at Sunset Ford.

I need to replace my steering wheel this week (have the replacement, just need to find the time to remove the old and install the new). Also need to repair/replace the overhead console - it died this afternoon. I'm also trying to get the auto-lock feature to work on my '99, but it may be too old (even with the newer programming). I've followed the procedure repeatedly with no success - I guess I'll stick to manually locking the doors as I drive each time.

Off topic - I stopped at another local dealer this afternoon (Dean Team in Kirkwood) and they had a Ford G2 supercar in the showroom. After much talking, they agreed to let me test-drive it, but we never made it out of the showroom - my 6'3" head was too high for the door to close (the door has an upper portion that becomes the roof in a T-top fashion). I don't know the sticker price on these things, but they wanted $175k for theirs with under 500 miles on it (used, but only slightly). Quite a change in view from my F350!

Cheers!
