Front End Conversion

I was wondering if it is possible to convert an older SD front end to a 2005 with out alot of hassle. Is it possible to do a bolt on conversion or is there some cut and pasting involved?

to my knowledge the header panel must be replaced, along with the surround and obviously the grille....in other words...yes there is some cutting and pasting to do

Look here for a great write up with pics. Doesn't seem too difficult.

No I have considered doing the swap, but it's just a matter of money. I have had the front of my truck torn apart. I would guess about 6+ hours would do the trick. From the site I posted it seems as it is all bolt-in stuff.
