About 6 months ago, as I was turning onto my street heading home, the back end of my Broco II began making a god awful gear grinding noise. I barely got it into the drive way went itcompletely quit moving. I put it into drive just to verify where the sound was coming from and yep, it's the back end. I'm positive that rear end is gone. (It's all kinda a blessing since it gave me an excuse to go out and get a new mustang GT ;-)

I've done quite a bit of work on her myself (the easy stuff like alternator, water pump etc) but i haven't the time or place to do the this.

Anyway, I've finally got around to cleaning the bronco up and gettin' her towed to the shop. Question is: what's a rear end rebuild going to cost me from the machanics?? Anyone have experience..?

I can't comment on the rebuild cost but I would just swap an entire rear from a junkyard in there.
