What should be replaced with the ball joints?
I plan on working on the front chassis of my truck this weekend, it is a 97 f-150 with 125,000 miles on it. To my knowledge no work has been done to it yet. I plan on replacing the upper/lower ball joints, outer tie rod ends, front and rear shocks.
This is one of them cases where I want to get it all done at once. Is there any other parts that I should replace while I am in there or does this pretty much cover it.
Also for shocks I think I will use Monroe Reflex in the front and Monroe Sensa-trac for the rears. Any other suggestions?
Thanks for the help in advance
Tim

Tim, I'm in the same boat, my son's '99 is in need of the same plus tie rod ends. I'm planning on replacing inner and outer tie rod ends and upper and lower ball joints. I was going to post a similar question as I've heard/read about "camber adjustment kits" that are added to the upper ball joints. Otherwise when you go to have it aligned and if you have to add the kits then it will add $100 to your alignment bill. John
