in regards to train horns air leak

hey guys,

reason i am posting this is because i cant find where the air leak is.... i have my train horns connected as follows: compressor and tank mounted to 1/4 copper line into eletric selenoid valve to train horns...

I charge my compressor everyday and only lasts turned off 5 mins...seems like the air is getting out and everything is new!

well if you guys have any idea let me know.....am going crazzy hehehe

ok thanks,
Deltasoft

How bad does it leak? the air supply on the trucks at my work wont hold air after it has sit for a short time, and this is kinda normal for them. Does it build up air and hold it when the truck is running and power is supplied to the selenoid?, if so build up enough pressure and then turn truck off and get around the system and listen for leak, usaully it will lead ya to the source.

Or use a mix of water and dish soap in a sprayer. Then you can spay down the lines and look for bubbles.
